We saw such indoctrination of youth manifest in Nazi Germany with the Hitler’s Youth, in Soviet Russia with with their Komsomol, in Communist China with their Red Guards and today we are seeing that emerge in the West.
Across the world, globalists and leftists are waging a war on children in Western nations, across many fronts, from schools and academia to social media to literature.
Right before our eyes, we are witnessing our kids being brainwashed into becoming hateful of their own heritage, identity, and traditions.
They are being lied to that the West is evil, that all its progress has only been borne out of exploitation, and that individual freedom — the core tenet that made the West so great — is wrong.
In our schools, from biology to history, narratives are being rewritten to propagate misinformation.
Kids are having their childhood and innocence destroyed by being deliberately targeted to highly sexualized and graphic content at an early age.
Worse still, the notion that children can pick their own gender amongst a variety of made-up genders has infiltrated classrooms so much so that a group of teachers in the United States were recently busted on Reddit discussing how to convert children into becoming transgender.
(Disturbingly, one Reddit user suggested that the teacher and the child in question arrange a “Summer trip” to “help explore yourselves”.)
Back in 2016, as a Member of the Australian Parliament, I famously called out a taxpayer-funded school program (with the misnomer of Safe Schools) which recommended websites to kids that featured ‘information’ on chest-binding, penis-tucking, gay sex and linked to pornographic content, sex clubs and adult shops.
The program also provided information on how unblock websites without their parents’ knowledge.
My expose of the program led to it being defunded but other programs have popped up in its wake such as Respectful Relationships which actually teaches that children were not actually born male or female.
This insidious war on the mind of our youth has been going on for many years now.
We can trace the battle back to the intellectual Marxists that established as the Frankfurt School.
Citing a Catholic Insight article, Australian cultural commentator Bill Muehlenberg explains that the Frankfurt School:
… devised strategies by which the destruction of the West could quickly and effectively take place: “To further the advance of their ‘quiet’ cultural revolution – but giving us no ideas about their plans for the future – the School recommended (among other things):
“1. The creation of racism offences.
2. Continual change to create confusion.
3. The teaching of sex and homosexuality to children.
4. The undermining of schools’ and teachers’ authority.
5. Huge immigration to destroy identity.
6. The promotion of excessive drinking.
7. Emptying of churches.
8. An unreliable legal system with bias against victims of crime.
9. Dependency on the state or state benefits.
10. Control and dumbing down of media.
11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family.”If anyone is wondering why the West is embarked upon sexual suicide, much of the answer can be found in the Frankfurt School: “One of the main ideas of the Frankfurt School was to exploit Freud’s idea of ‘pansexualism’ – the search for pleasure, the exploitation of the differences between the sexes, the overthrowing of traditional relationships between men and women. To further their aims they would:
“• attack the authority of the father, deny the specific roles of father and mother, and wrest away from families their rights as primary educators of their children.
• abolish differences in the education of boys and girls.
• abolish all forms of male dominance – hence the presence of women in the armed forces.
• declare women to be an ‘oppressed class’ and men as ‘oppressors’.
I spoke with Bill Muehlenberg on the Frankfurt School and its role in promoting and proliferating cultural Marxism in two episodes of my Conservative One podcast back in early 2020.
We are now seeing the impact of the decades-long ideological war in today’s young generation, from being cheerleaders for big government and the removal of freedoms, to taking an active part in the destruction of our heritage.
It is noted that this ideological brainwashing has taken a toll on not just our institutions but on the youth themselves.
A sense of community, purpose, and continuity aren’t simple social paradigms but are actually beneficial to our mental health.
With the globalists Marxists uprooting it all with their toxic propaganda, it has left our youth clueless, isolated, and depressed.
And that too is a deliberate, even desired outcome for the globalist elites, for this makes the youth easier to manipulate and more apathetic to the erosion of liberty and democracy that is happening around us.
It is our collective responsibility as parents, siblings, or guardians to ensure that the youth of today isn’t corrupted by the globalist and Marxist agenda. Because what the youth of today are is what the society of tomorrow will be.
Let’s work to ensure that it will be one where freedom, democracy, and traditional Western values are cherished rather than vilified.
