Nation First reports on an Australian politician's bid to guarantee equal care for babies born alive after abortions, and the Liberal leadership’s chance to stop Parliament burying the issue again.
What I don't get is the law says it's OK, in some states, to terminate your baby in very late pregnancy, and it can still be born alive, and healthy, but it's allowed to just...die.
However, if the mother births that baby just a number of weeks later, and then leaves it to...die...she will be convicted of negligence/murder/manslaughter.
So, how come she and medical staff are allowed to 1. intervene and 2. kill the baby before it's birthed, with 3. no legal consequences?
It makes no logical sense at all.

They KNOW the baby is in there, alive. They KNOW they are killing the baby. And the law just...lets them?

I really hope Llew O'Brien's bill gets some attention - and passed!
The murder of innocent babies, miraculously surviving an abortion, is pure evil.
These babies are living, breathing human beings and allowing them to die is murder.
Those responsible for this sin will have to answer to God for their satanic acts and may they spend eternity having to hear the cries of these dying babies!
