Hello again,
Christmas will be a relief to many in our nation after the turmoil of 2021, where we have continued to see the disastrous impacts on businesses, workers, families and freedom, primarily due to government and corporate overreach in response to the Wuhan coronavirus.
Border closures have kept loved ones apart, especially in times of need. It was only a month or so ago that I spoke to a former North Queensland family who were denied the ability to return home to see their dying father, solely because of the State Labor Government’s draconian border restrictions. As it turned out, he passed away without them seeing him beforehand and then they weren't even able to attend his funeral. How utterly devastating.
If you haven’t yet done so, subscribe to the Nation First e-newsletter here:
In the past week, I’ve had to talk to several weeping and distraught education and health workers — and even mine workers — who either have lost or face losing their lifetime career.
We've sacrificed so much in the ‘fight’ against COVID-19, that the question needs to be asked: In trying to ‘save lives’ (from a virus with 0.27% infection fatality rate), haven’t we sacrificed some of the key things that any life worth living is all about?
Such a question is all the more poignant at Christmas.
During this season, we celebrate the birth of Christ; God become man. His central message was "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind and love your neighbour as you love yourself."
Some woke churches have invoked that line to urge believers to follow the narrative, despite any reservations, and just get jabbed for the sake of others. But we know that this is hogwash as even the United States’ Center for Disease Control admits those who’ve been jabbed can carry detectable COVID-19 viral loads similar to those who aren’t jabbed.
The kind of love that Jesus spoke about doesn’t force people into doing what they inherently don’t want to do. Neither does it keep families apart especially in times of need. No act of love forces someone out of a job that provides the food for their family or that covers the mortgage that keeps the roof over their heads. And it certainly does not urge on discrimination of any sort, based on someone’s medical status. We know that the kind of love that Jesus spoke about doesn’t discriminate like that, because Christ Himself mingled with lepers (and being non-vaccinated is far removed from being a leper — even though some are acting like it’s the same thing)!
And so I hope and pray that 2022 will see a firm return to the Christian value of true charitable love, which is what this Christmas season — and, indeed, our country — should be all about.
Until next time, God bless you, your family and our nation. And Merry Christmas.
Take care,
George Christensen MP
P.S. This will be the last substantive weekend Nation First newsletter for the year. The next weekend newsletter will be out on 8 January 2022, but look out for a quick recap on the Great Reset agenda in the coming week, and perhaps a quick update here or there.
P.P.S. My good friend, Anglican priest Fr Dave Smith is running a petition to save his boxing club for troubled youth. It’s a good cause. To sign the petition, go to https://www.change.org/p/save-father-dave-s-community-boxing-club
P.P.P.S. Nation First reader and security guard Michael from Queensland’s Gold Coast (like so many others) is soon going to be unemployed because of these shocking vaccine mandates. He’s asked me to provide a helping hand for him, so if you’re in need of employing a security guard in 2022, give him a call on 0438 435 073.
If you like this edition of Nation First, why not share it with friends and family?
This is a bit self-indulgent but Paul Collits has written an article that appeared in both The Spectator Australia and Politicom which recommended that I don’t “retire quietly”. All I will say is that this is one of my favourite songs at the moment (turn the volume up, watch the clip and enjoy!):
In Australia, those who have legitimate grievances about vaccine mandates are branded as the “extreme right” but in the UK, the Left — including none other than former UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn — are opposing mandates, as Glenn Greenwald reports:
There is always too much politically correct ‘bah, humbug!’ around this time of year, which is exactly the reason why Rebecca Weisser is railing against Christmas woke-ism in The Spectator Australia.
With it all but confirmed that the Chinese Communist Party developed COVID-19, there are reports they are now creating human-pig hybrids in order to infect them with more severe coronaviruses. What on Earth could go wrong? But hey… don’t question The Science!
You can’t view it yet, but get ready for the new series of my Conservative One podcast. (You can check out the past series on my website). This season, it's Conservative One: Pandemic Unmasked, where I interview doctors, lawyers and other experts who lift the veil on the war on Communist China's COVID-19 virus to reveal mass hysteria, media fear-mongering, political opportunism, corporate grifting, human rights abuses, the erosion of liberties, and an agenda for control. Stay tuned!
Thank you George for your work and for speaking out. In these critcal times, we the people certainly need a voice.
Also thank you for your heart felt words reminding us of our wonderful, all loving, embracing and inclusive God.
Merry Christmas
