The scholars Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson, in their book Why Nations Fail talked about critical junctures – key points in history – which permanently influenced the trajectory which nations will take.

Right now, the world, but particularly the West, is undergoing one such critical juncture.

The past two years have been an unprecedented time of change, as our economic and political institutions underwent drastic change but not for the better.

There is now greater government tyranny, lower social mobility, and, most of all, a system entrenched that benefits the few at the cost of many.

The so-called measures that were taken to handle the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of mankind.

Who are the three corporations who gained the most over the past few year?

Nowhere can the transfer of wealth be more profoundly witnessed than in the burgeoning power of three global financial giants – BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street.

Combined, these three hold assets worth a staggering $22 trillion, nearly equal to the size of the entire GDP of the United States of America, and constitute the largest shareholders in 88 percent of the S&P 500 firms.

Even more shocking is the rate at which they have amassed their wealth.

Since 2016, they have more than doubled their asset holdings.

Today, they effectively have the biggest say in all major Western tech, pharmaceutical, and finance companies.

With so much power in the hands of so few, it brings to question what it means for the future of freedom and the free market.

Historically, whenever few groups have amassed the majority of wealth, it has given way to dictatorship, loss of individual rights, and a decline in social mobility.

As their share of the total equity market grows, the more influence they would enjoy over the policies of companies they owe a share of, politicians whose campaigns they fund, and of civil organizations to whom they donate to it.

What we could see, or are seeing, would be a steady erosion of the institutions that make the West so great: human rights, democracy, and liberty.

Already, key people from these three asset management companies are using their influence to shape global policies and agendas, from having their key persons sit on the board of the World Economic Forum to actively lending money to central banks.

With so great an influence, one may wonder why the biggest shareholders of these companies are never in the spotlight.

This is because these organisations have structures in place that secure their shareholder’s anonymity.

However, it isn’t difficult to speculate who these owners are.

They would be from well-established billionaire dynasties, especially those operating in the finance sector.

These, of course, include the Rothschilds, the Johnsons, the Rockefellers, and the Morgans.

These families already hold a firm grip over most of the financial world and have been the key players in the founding of many prior globalist institutes such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the US Federal Reserve.

Now, through the asset management companies of BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, they aim to effectively cement their hold.

If they’re not already, this will make them more powerful than nations, perhaps even precipitating the collapse of nation-states.

The end result? A return to feudalism, albeit neo-feudalism, where corporations take the place of barons and we are all considered peasants.

It isn’t too late… we can push back against the globalist agenda of control.
