Just about any Australian citizen can walk into Parliament House. You can sit in the gallery. You can watch debates. You can talk to politicians. And you can report back.
That’s called freedom.
It’s the right of every citizen journalist. And I just happen to be a citizen with a journalism degree, experience in the field, and 12 years of service as a federal MP. I know the building. I know the power players. I know what to look for.
But I need your help to get there.
