Dear friends of freedom,
Firstly, make sure you scroll to the end of this email to avail yourself of a very special book deal that I know you’ll be interested in. On to the big news:
Many months ago, Senator Pauline Hanson asked me to leave the Liberal National Coalition and join her party.
While I did not wish to entertain the thought of deserting the party I was elected to while in office, I have to say the request played on my mind repeatedly, particularly given the Coalition’s lack of action against vaccine mandates, their sell-out out to extreme green ideology with a job-destroying net zero target and their plan to implement a privacy-destroying digital identity system.
What also played on my mind were your calls to not give up the fight, and to run again.
This week, I’m happy to announce that I’ve joined Pauline Hanson’s One Nation and will be part of the party’s Queensland Senate ticket at the next federal election.
Like me, Pauline and One Nation have opposed the “pandemic” policy insanity that overtook our country, particularly in regards to workplace vaccine mandates and the vaccine passport system
One Nation’s policy statement on World Organisations and Trade Agreements says “One Nation does not support the World Economic Forum’s 'Great Reset'.”
The party has the best pro-life policy of any party that sits in the Federal Parliament
One Nation has a policy position of essential services “including power, water, telecommunications, roadways, and ports (being) … off-limits to foreign investors.”
They also pride themselves on being “the only political party to question climate science.”
The question is less ‘why wouldn’t I join Pauline Hanson’s One Nation?’ but rather ‘why did I take so long?’
I now expect all sorts of mud to be thrown at me by my former party because I’ve acted on my convictions and joined a party that’s more in line with my true views.
In fact, it’s already started. Hours after announcing myself as a candidate, I had a reporter lining up questions about travel claims from over a year ago even though every single claim was above board. There will be more mud to be thrown yet I suspect.
Also, the reports around this being all about an exit payment are just bunkum, given my understanding that’s something I was already entitled to. That criticism is a sign that the legacy media and establishment political parties have no concept of the notion of following your conscience.
They would think that the only reason someone would go across to One Nation is for financial gain. They never stop to think that the real reason might be because I have actually looked at their policies and values in detail and believe that this is the right party for me and for our nation.
I concede it will be a difficult — but not impossible — task for me to get elected to the Senate. If I wanted an easy way to stay in office with all the perks, I would have renominated for the LNP for Dawson and been re-elected comfortably on the near 16% margin I built up in that electorate. At the end of the day, whether I’m elected to the Senate is a decision is in the hands of the voters, not the legacy media pundits.
However, I consider that if my addition to the One Nation Senate ticket ensures Senator Pauline Hanson gets re-elected then it’s a job well done.
I think it is going to vitally important to have Pauline Hanson back in the Senate — hopefully with other foot soldiers — as the polls indicate we are going to have an Albanese Labor Government to deal with. Pauline’s ongoing presence in the Senate as a sort of sentry at the gate could be the difference between the Senate blocking or passing bad laws that harm your family and the nation.
I look forward to your support!
God bless you, your family and our country .
Take care,
George Christensen MP

Easter message: Follow the straight path, do what is right.
What follows is a rerun of last year’s Easter message, which is still pertinent today:
Many of my Nation First readers are Christian but I know that there some who aren’t particularly religious or Christian, but hear me out, because there’s a message in this even for the atheists and agnostics.
These days, Easter has been secularised and commercialised, with hot cross buns, Easter eggs, images of fluffy ducklings and the like. That’s not what Easter is about. In the Christian tradition, Easter is hardcore. The entirety of the Holy Week/Easter story revolves around violence, death, the war between good and evil, the rescue of sinners and, ultimately, the victory of Christ. And in all of that, we learn what it truly means to be fully human.
Christ was beaten, spat on, scourged, pierced with thorns, made to carry a cross up a hill, was nailed to that cross and, just to make sure He was dead, a Roman soldier speared Him in the side. It was the most violent sort of death imaginable at the time. Then things got interesting. The Apostle’s Creed tells us that Christ “descended into Hell” before he rose again. There is a great work of art by 19th century French artist Gustave Doré called ‘Vale of Tears’ (pictured above) that depicts Christ, just after being crucified, storming the gates of Hell with His cross with a piercing light emanating from Him, shocking the wretched masses who are imprisoned in that dark void. Other early Christian imagery depicts Christ just after His death trampling on Satan in a sign that His death defeated the forces of Hell. At the same time it depicts Christ rescuing Adam and Eve from their tombs, showing He has also defeated death itself. These events aren’t recorded in the Holy Bible (although 1 Peter 3:19–20 alludes to it) but they are part of Christian tradition. What the Holy Bible records is that Christ rose from the dead, again signifying that He had destroyed death because He had taken away its sting. (Johnny Cash sings it better than I can write about it!)
For the atheists and agnostics, breathe easy: the religious lesson is over but here’s the rub:
Easter is about the forces of good defeating the forces of evil.
Psychologist and author Jordan Peterson tells us that Christ is the archetype of the perfect man. (Christians believe the same by the way, we just also believe He’s more than that). Thus the notions of sacrifice, courage and the actions of opposing evil, and rescuing our fellow man are the kind of things we uphold and desire to embody. We only need to look at the status our nation rightly ascribes the ANZACs and our diggers to see that.
I’m a fan of the Greco-Roman practical philosophy of Stoicism. You may have heard of the great Stoic philosopher and first century Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius and his classic writings, now titled ‘Meditations’. In those writings, Aurelius says that the answer to the question of 'how to live’ is not found in syllogisms, money or fame but…
“In doing what human nature requires. How? Through first principles. Which should govern your intentions and your actions. What principles? Those to do with good and evil. That nothing is good except that which leads to fairness, and self-control, and courage, and free will. And nothing bad except what does the opposite.”
Later, in his writings, Aurelius admonishes the reader to stop talking about what it is to be good and to just be good, saying that the good man:
“… has stripped away his body and - realizing (sic) that at some point soon he will have to abandon mankind and leave all this behind - has dedicated himself to serving justice in all he does, and nature in all that happens. What people say or think about him, or how they treat him, isn’t something he worries about. Only these two questions: Is what he’s doing now the right thing to be doing? Does he accept and welcome what he’s been assigned? He has stripped away all other occupations, all other tasks. He wants only to travel a straight path - to God, by way of law.”
The Roman emperor could have been talking about Christ Himself. What he is talking about, though, is how we should aim to live and act: without fear of death, without fear of slander, without fear of ill treatment, and with doing what is right, and with doing what is our duty firmly in mind.
This Easter, whether you’re a Christian or not, let’s rededicate ourselves to following the straight path, and doing what is right by our nation, by speaking out and rejecting what we know to be wrong, regardless of attacks and slander.
I hope you and your loved ones have a safe, holy and happy Easter.

At the 2019 election many conservatives – the “quiet Australians” – went back to the Liberals, given that Malcolm Turnbull had finally been dispensed with and recalling that Scott Morrison seemed to have stopped the boats and was a regular churchgoer. Further, they were genuinely concerned about Bill Shorten’s “drastic climate action”. However, these same conservatives have reason to be very aggravated, and are seriously considering voting for alternative parties at the forthcoming federal election. Why is this so?
The book Deconstructing ScoMo seeks to answer this question.
In this book, authors Rocco Loiacono and Augusto Zimmermann highlight the Prime Minister’s failure to stand up for conservative values; namely, his abandonment of the principles of smaller government, economic reform, free speech and individual liberty which successfully guided both the founder of the Liberal Party, Sir Robert Menzies, and Australia’s second-longest serving prime minister, John Howard. This compendium of articles is a must read as Australians head to the polls in 2022.

Since the fake news legacy media only put a negative spin on my joining Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, I present to you six stories from alternative media on the issue plus an interview I did on the matter with Sky News’ Peta Credlin:
Rebel News Australia gave perhaps the most impartial report of all on my move.
The Spectator Australia reports that my move is part of “a crisis of faith that has the Coalition bleeding Blue Ribbon candidates to the trilateral nightmare of minor parties.”
Politicom says my move is “a ‘big win’ for One Nation”.
The Good Sauce interviewed me on the move where I outlined reasons for the shift in parties.
Caldron Pool also reported on my move, stating that the “veteran conservative joining One Nation is music to the ears of thousands, if not millions of Australians who refuse to vote woke.”
Politicom ran another piece hitting back at the media bias and rubbish claims about my move.
And finally Peta Credlin interviewed me on Sky News’ Credlin:
So happy to hear this George. You are a true defender of human rights and have made some epic speeches.
This is great news George. Thank you SO MUCH. But my fear is this election will be rigged, again and they will put in whoever they want. They being the new world order mob, using our so called leaders as minions to do their dirty work to bring in their one world grubberment.
I pray, on my knees I pray you guys have ALL THE SUCCESS you and WE ALL NEED.
Bringing in overseas workers to fill in the gaps is appalling. Allow the un jabbed workers back to work. What is happening to our country is WRONG.
BEST OF LUCK GEORGE AND ONE NATION. Thank you again, many thanks.
Best wishes to you and yours. God Bless you.
