What to do about it.

Solzhenitsyn warned us and we ignored him. Nation First now asks “Is it too late to heed the warning?”

Dear friend,

As outlined in Monday’s edition of Nation First, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn preached a sobering message decades ago, warning us about these unfolding dangers for Western civilisation.

He said that if we succumb to our materialistic cravings, fail to uphold moral virtues and become isolated from history, we would suffer greatly.

Unfortunately, his warnings went unheeded.

Yesterday, I outlined the path Western civilisation has largely taken since then.

The mistakes of our past have indeed come home to roost, and society is now forced to suffer the consequences of its own wilful naivete.

But is it too late to take his warnings seriously and turn it all around?

Given the hour, that is difficult to know. But what is certain is that if we continue in the current direction, there will be no West in which to speak of in the not too distant future.
