The Nationals won't change their spots unless they get of Littleproud, who's a Liberal Yes man.

Canavan spoke about running against the Liberals in seats. That would be a real split. I'm still not sure if our local member, Andrew Willcox, is a Liberal or a National! I know he sits with the Nationals in the party room, but is he really one? He's certainly a mixed bag with his votes. If you want to know how federal MP's vote, there's a guide here. https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/ Was David Littleproud absent for voting 50% of the time as that site says?

As for the Nats, I don't think they'd have any problem expanding in the suburbs and cities, even though they traditionally represent the regions.

A few of their main focus's could be on electricity - power prices, and the effect on the rising cost of food etc. That sits at the heart of everyone.

Bringing supermarkets into line - again a no brainer. We need more competition. And there needs to be action on all the land holdings the major two supermarkets have for future builds, which knock out other companies.

Doing something about fuel excise. Again, farmers costs are reflected at the checkout, and it plays havoc with city dwellers. All that fuel lost sitting at traffic lights and traffic jams adds up too.

Protecting the farmers from bully tactics by the supermarkets. We all know it happens. It's been reported time and again how farmers are "encouraged" to accept lower payment for their goods, which barely pays farmer's costs.

Net zero hits everyone across the nation. They need a massive campaign to promote nuclear safety around the world - and they need good comebacks against the greenie/Labor/ Teals attacks. Steadfast. Factual. Hit back with facts. i.e., Paris Agreement.

Manufacturing - the deck of cards that make up the manufacturing industry has almost completely fallen over due to electricity costs, and free trade agreements! Do people want their kids to have a job? A future that's not reliant on servicing other countries? i.e., Lima Agreement.

Immigration. It may not be a big winner in the major cities, where it's increasingly difficult to see a white person, but in the outer suburbs, where many, many of them are being taken over by foreigners who refuse to assimilate, and refuse to speak English etc., they could easily link it with housing, and jobs.

And it goes on and on.

The Nationals could be a great political party. If they get rid of Littleproud (another Turnbull?) and get the right leader.

Not just the supermarkets, all the big chain stores, Bunnings is another one that has gotten too big for their boots because the regulator ignores their actions and more importantly. There are no consequences.

Prediction; Littleproud replaced by Canavan within three months.

I know that New Zealand has proportional representation but their current Conservative government is actually a coalition of three parties and the two smaller parties pull the policies towards the centre-right rather than the non-descript middle. The Nats could go one direction and the Libs another and present two different sets of policies and just say the precise policies implemented will involve negotiation and compromise and depend on how the people vote. The Nats could target the outer suburban seats with lots of blue collar workers and small private sector business owners and workers. They could win some of these seats off Labor in a way the Liberals never would. With the right policies they could become the lead party in the next coalition government.

When I heard about the split in the car this morning I was suprised but not shocked and I suspect the rise of Ley to the LNP leadership role may have also played a part. I also believe she was a diversity pick to satisfy the LNP's globalist filth controllers. In the wash up everyone has been harping on about the lack of women in LNP leadership, blah, blah, its not fair. Lets put her in and show them how diverse we are. You can bet there will be redistribution of portfolios to favor the women I suspect.

Littleproud has been handed a chance on a plate by Canavan, I think it was a smart move on his part to withdraw, no pressure on Canavan to fix things out the gate which is going to be much harder than I think Littleproud realises and is much less capable of delivering. Canavan will get the chance to prove he was the right guy in due course, I suspect sooner rather than later. Littleproud is the weakest link, his days are numbered unless he does something really spectacular to lift the Nationals. I just don't see that happening.

Imagine an Australian government with Mat Canavan as PM and Jacinta Price as deputy PM meaning the Nationals grew some spine and took urban seats from the basket case liberals and became the major partner and true alternative conservative and genuinely indigenous focused political party in Australia

I used to think highly of Jacinta but now I have my doubts. Now a partnership with One Nation and Pauline as deputy PM would he interesting, but unlikely I know.

I have my doubts about Price now. She jumped ship because she could become deputy PM.

I suspect Price hitched to the Liberal wagon because she knew if Ley was elected her wagon would be well oiled. She might be a good pollie but at the end of the day, they are all in it for themselves, regardless of what they say to the man on the street.

Thanks George, for voicing some "hope" in our "political desert."

If we could wave that "wand" and form at least some "Alliance" between our "top shelf" combatants: Canavan, Roberts (Pauline), Jacinta?, Rennick, Antic, Hastie, Angus?, Babet, Kelly, Clive, the Katters, Christensen many other champions (ageing 86 yr brain) - Tony Abbott/John Anderson etc - I could advance to my next "stage" with a restful soul, that our Nation had the Leadership clout to take Australia forward against the increasing "socialist / God-less oriented tide" that has been white-anting the West, (broadly founded on the Christian ethos) since the "super-capitalists' / Bolshevist State Socialism embryo was transferred from Germany to Southern Russia / Eastern Europe in early 1900 - from which most of the West's "malaise" has developed.

"Boche and Bolshevik" - Nesta Webster / Kurt Kerlin / Peter Beckwith - 1923. (WORTH A READ)

"Capital in order that it may operate without interference must secure freedom to monopolize industry and trade. This is already being put into execution by an unseen hand in all parts of the world. Such freedom will give political power to the leaders of industry and will aid in subjugating the people."

"It would be suicidal to neglect or ignore such facts as these. This group of bankers, resident in Germany, initiated the entre' of Bolshevism into Russia and in general has controlled and directed it. There is every reason to believe that it holds Bolshevism in the hollow of its hand at the present

time, and that it threatens the peaceful security of governments and society throughout the world. It will continue to undermine and destroy unless thwarted."

"Finally, through a constantly depreciating currency and a system of State socialism, this group is ruthlessly exploiting the labor of the German people, and is more firmly entrenched than ever. To it, war has been an asset."

Tends to be an effective description of the gradual "white-anting" of the West, broadly via unbalanced immigration, infiltration, compromisation of Western Administration, Institutions, Corporations etc. over the centuries. The TRUTH has been written down for our edification, but has been broadly "whitewashed" since say 1930: Solzhenitsyn on the Russian emasculation - "Bolshevism committed the greatest human slaughter of all time. The fact that most of the world is ignorant and uncaring about this enormous crime is proof that the global media is in the hands of the perpetrators."

The "REAL TRUTH" has long been written down - but you have to search for it. Another little snippet from Nesta Webster in "Bosche and Bolshevik": "Germany alone of all the great countries of the world understands "the rottenness of the thing we call 'democracy', by which we are allowing ourselves to be undermined" --- ."

Those capable will need to maintain a firm hand on the Socialist oriented element of our re-elected Federal Labor Government, for certain of their centralizing / state dependency proposals would seem to be but contemporary policy of the "original" noted above: Net Zero = Globalist Containment / Albo's / Katy Gallagher's Digital I.D. / (coming) Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC') = super-Capitalist's "Dream Control" policy.

True "Progress" will only come if we determine to "Return to our Christian-oriented fair go principles", which will warrant a "re-girding of the loins - in the strict Biblical sense - if we are to thwart this "super Capitalist - Bolshevik" (Anti-God) oriented movement that has been whiteanting the West for close on 2 centuries. Best Wishes Bill Webster (a bit long - but there you go)

I'm not impressed with Sussan Ley. In my view , she is there by default. Biblically, it is 'men' God entrusted with strong 'leadership'. Adam was created first and THEN He created Eve to be 'his helpmate'. In this duopoly, God gave the responsibility to Adam to lead, guide, protect and provide for his spouse and eventual children. Before God, BOTH were equal but with different 'roles'. The 'woman' was still able and should bring her intuition, wisdom and knowledge 'to the table', but the 'governance' of the household rested with 'the man' - 'helped' by her wise counsel.

Feminist ideology has confused the issue. 'Women cant play men at their own game'. They were never meant to do so. Personally, I want to see 'strong men' leading. We have some strong men in our midst - former PM Tony Abbott; Sen Malcolm Roberts; Sen Matt Canavan; Sen Alec Antic; former Deputy PM John Anderson ... there are others we could name... when they speak, people listen. Without destroying my argument, capable women should be included in the 'public debate' and in parliamentary office, but, by merit and NOT to fill a quota. Men and woman BOTH should be appointed by 'merit'. Who IS the best person for the job?

A mistake, should Sussan Ley flood the corridors with 'female appointees'. More setback.

Well - 'the times they are a-changing'. (Peter Paul & Mary). Sometimes, we have to create a mess in order to fix a mess.

[That's how I REALLY clean up my house. Every once in a while, everything needs a good 'sort out'. To clean up from ground zero, I move things around - throw out what is not needed - and re-order my space! I create a mess and then fix the mess. Umm. much better].

We have a lot of 'house-keeping' to do in Oz.
