Your costs have gone up 6.1% & it's going to get worse!
Nation First looks deeper into the inflation crisis.
Dear friend,
We are halfway across 2022 and Australia’s inflation rate has climbed to 6.1 per cent – the fastest annual increase the country has witnessed in the past two decades.
If we consider inflation for goods and essentials alone, it has been the highest on record since 1987.
This is then the biggest rise in the cost of living for average Australian families in the past quarter of a century!
And worse still, with a looming energy crisis, a global food shortage and a global supply chain breakdown, it’s about to get a whole lot worse. Brace yourself.
