We’re already in a cashless society. Notice the electronic card in your pocket/wallet. I just paid for petrol with a debit card. It’s getting increasingly difficult to get cash out as bank branches close and ATMs disappear. The other thing is that I never have enough in my bank account to be able to get cash out for the week.
Our little ratepayers association in SW Victoria has had its savings account cleaned out by the state government because it hadn't been used for a while, (2 years from covid), about $1200, there is a process that we can get the money back. But...... some faceless bureaucrats have thought this up, they don't have the guts to come and punch us in the face and rob us but do it by stealth. These are the people who have wracked up $!50 billion of debt for Victoria , these odious people have the stench of rotting flesh.
Indeed, the despot Trudeau & his dystopian gov are pushing hard to introduce their federal “Digital Identity Program.”.... So too the RBA are running a digital currency program (details on their website)... This WEF initiated agenda is well advanced!
I know of some cases where you go to a shop that has a limit of $5 for card payment, which makes it difficult for someone to purchase one item that may only be worth $2 etc if there is a cashless society, it is forcing people to purchase more than 1 item that they may not want or afford.
What does everyone think of Bitcoin and crypto? Pyramid scheme? It used to be an internet backwater for those who were into it and those who know how it works but now its suddenly starting to go mainstream as we see more and more advertisements on the sides of buses and buildings on billboards and bus shelters and advertised in shopping centres.
Sad to say for banks my cheque book is still in vogue for me. being not very tech savv so messing around with banks and card details to pay bills fills me with horror Luckily for me my daughter pays my bills by phone plus her cards and expertise May be considered lazy but so what !Others get paid for doing nothing and dont feel that WEF needs to more about me to make things happen
Suffice to say, if the WEF promote something, do the opposite.

Indeed banks are now literally asking 'why' when customers ask to withdraw larger amounts of cash, circa $3K....
I had no problem getting $5k cash from local Westpac branch in a regional town in Victoria, not even a blink, I've probably got that honest look.
Interesting Leigh. I have many friends/colleagues here in the city who have had the opposite experiences, and I assure you they are/look honest too
