We must be realistic here. If we, as a Nation, cannot supply our own labour, what gives us the right to plunder other nations of their scarce resource (labour).

Solving our problems by possibly creating problems for other nations is unethical.

Sure ..but it’s voluntary . Entry here is highly difficult for those from ‘third world’ countries and intake is not huge … many would love the opportunity…Qld is bringing in mercenaries! Wtf ….

imagine the US where millions have poured across their borders or Europe with similar numbers. Huge changes to society, that’s the issue.

Tax rises dont bother the wealthy but these bring hardship to the battlers the ordinary families and the less financial like self funded retirees.Their difficulties are not noted and are obscure to the elite who carry on buying and selling to suit their aims often borrowing huge amounts to be paid off some time in the future the burden hitting the little man and small business harder there always seems to be money for military expansion and arms but health and education usually face the first razor cuts in many budgets state and federal The world's targets of progress are fading
