My brother had five jabs, developed Covid a couple of weeks later, and slowly lost his vision in one eye - RVO. He now has Chales Bonnet syndrome which is very distressing.
He's at the top end of IQ - I cannot understand why he is so blinded (Intellectually and now physically)! Heart breaking!
So many intelligent people were blindsided by the propaganda and the normalisation of vaccines. I am so sorry to hear of your brother's harm from these so called vaccines.
Thanks for writing about this George. I saw that paper a few days ago and there were two issues that stood out to me.
1) The "background" rate of the condition was not mentioned (that I could see). If it was 1 in a million then perhaps a 2 times increase would not be significant, however I had to look in the supplementary data (unvaxed) to get an idea of what the ball park was. Seems like it is around 5 in 10,000 per year although the number at 12 weeks is about double this which does not make much sense. According to Google "Recent estimates put the incidence of retinal artery occlusion at 0.85 per 100,000 per year" ??
2) On page 6 there is a statement: "Based on the official COVID-19 death reports, it is estimated that vaccinations have prevented 14.4 million excess COVID-19 deaths worldwide between December 2020 and December 2021(39). Thus, vaccination is the most effective method for preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2." The source (referenced) is not at all obvious - clearly based on "modelling" which by definition cannot be proven. The conclusion is completely unsupported. It sounded more like "and now a word from our sponsors" than having any place in a scientific paper like this.
In summary a very interesting result and not unexpected given the other damage being done all around the body by these shots.
Does that mean they prevented 14.4 million excess deaths over the probably 20 million overall deaths that are worldwide. How do they arrive at this 'excess'!
I don't know but my point is that the comment has no place in the paper. It is an unsubstantiated number thrown in to support the narrative (most likely to pacify their sponsors) that despite the fact that you are twice as likely to go blind almost everybody should still rush out and get jabbed in case they die of COVID.
