Dear reader,
I have just released another episode of my Conservative One podcast and in it I speak once again with clinical psychologist Dr Mattias Desmet.
Dr Desmet, who famously diagnosed society as going through a “mass formation” during the so-called “pandemic”, has just released a new book titled The Psychology of Totalitarianism.
In the podcast, I talk to Dr Desmet about his book and where he sees society at right now. Are we really heading into totalitarianism? Find out by watching the interview in full.
Dr Desmet’s book is a must read. It clearly outlines where we’ve been, where we are now and where we are headed unless there is a turnaround.
The picture he paints isn’t pretty but if we don’t look at it, we don’t learn and thus we will be doomed to totalitarianism.
While some people may think it’s fanciful to suggest we could slide into totalitarianism, Desmet points out that it’s a very different thing to a classical dictatorship:
“Dictatorships are based on a primitive psychological mechanism, namely on the creation of a climate of fear amongst the population, based on the brutal potential of the dictatorial regime. Totalitarianism, on the other hand, has its roots in the insidious psychological process of mass formation. Only a thorough analysis of this process enables us to understand the shocking behaviors of a “totalitarized” population, including an exaggerated willingness of individuals to sacrifice their own personal interests out of solidarity with the collective (i.e., the masses), a profound intolerance of dissident voices, and pronounced susceptibility to pseudo-scientific indoctrination and propaganda.”
That sounds very much like how society has reacted these past two years of the so-called “pandemic”.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom. The book also provides some hope and advice on how we can ensure “the winter of totalitarianism gives way to a new spring of life”.
The Psychology of Totalitarianism has got some top notch recommendations from people like Dr Peter McCullough, Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Dr Robert Malone; the latter who actually says that this “is the most important book of 2022.”
I hope you enjoy my podcast interview with Dr Desmet and that you get yourself a copy of The Psychology of Totalitarianism so you can understand a whole lot better exactly what’s going on in society right now.
God bless you, your family and our nation.
Take care,
George Christensen

Future is a cloudy vision due to this nonsense about climate change and a PM crawling to European leaders who have no inking or care of life in the southern hemisphere. Our finances are being thrown to every troubled nation as PM plays the Big Man getting Australia recognised globally Must be listening to that Klaus Whatshisname ( Klawed Squab) a suspicious character with a smooth slick mouth and cold heart for people whom he considers of lesser degree to his elite status, whatever that is overseas. That weak UN should refuse aid to leaders of countries of high migration level until they can prove independently that they are caring for their people and the country not luxuriating in easy money Are our politicians becoming indifferent to the blue collar family ? Break down the family unit and society will suffer badly as it is the backbone of all love care respect decency and tolerance
You have both beautifully articulated what many in ' the small group ' are aware/conscious of.
Now, how to support each other in remaining vocal through both the written and spoken word and of course in what we do or do not do.
I have listened twice and will do so again no doubt. Thank you George.
