I did subscribe to Topher once and there is no denying his gift's. However over time I found that watching him get respectably intoxicated during his interview's, irritating at best. And callous and pretentious of our youth during a time when their despair was at its peak at worst.
Keeping in mind closed churches increased suicide, lockdowns, open bottle shops and home delivery of what ever...
Yes I know...how judgmental of me but " To whom much is given - much is expected ".
Yes pretty much and I have come across plenty of people that see things are not right but who don't like what they see so don't want to think about it!
I wonder what it will take to happen for them to act...? How bad does it actually have to get for them to step in and do something?
I guess that's most people, though. Because how often do Revolutions occur? Not too often, but when they do, they're bloody!!!
People on the whole just aren't much good at standing up for themselves or saying what they really think...at least not until they've taken their stand - at the last second of the last minute of the last hour!! :-\
I have found many just say 'well we can't do anything about it they are going to do it anyway'! They don't understand what it means to wait til we are trapped completely making it too late to do anything that they could have been involved in.
The gullibility of Australians seems to have no bounds. With dictators in WA, Qld and now Victoria returned to power after causing untold harm, there is no doubt we are doomed to see a repeat. Meanwhile, the Liberal Party has descended into the depths of irrelevance at both a state and federal level, so there is no effective opposition.
And yet Victoria was recently voted the friendliest city in the world based on factors including resident happiness, safety, LGBTQI+ inclusivity, top attractions and highest-rated hotels.
At least according to expat insurance company William Russell.
But I think most people realise insurance companies are about as trustworthy as politicians!
Nothing is safe and our political apathy has always been very apparent but ignored How many people that you know cheerfully admit to voting informally at elections because they cant be bothered, dont like the person or subject, they might offend others about their choice ,dont know anything and let someone else worry about those things yet feel they show the world how clever they are. Usually these are the kind of people who complain loudly about the quality of government or ruling that applies and asking why this or that was not done when the choice was in their hands with the power of their vote Many cant accept that the vote is every ordinary person's weapon of power Seemingly just a slip of paper with squiggles and numbers that you can tick off and then forget about that miserable useless duty Wait how many ever consider the result and what it will mean to them Obviously not ,but how to impress indolent people that voting is a not a painful chore but a icon of power given them but denied to others in this world People power is at their fingertips to make changes so use it as informal voting has no aim and benefits nothing
Can we really trust the process? I mean not just the vote counting but even the candidate selection. Libs and Labs admitted openly they are working together. They are so similar now, it’s just a facade of choice...
Labor governments in QLD and WA have to face an election in the not too distant future. It is very likely that the same breed of mindless mugs as in Victoria will vote them back in. Go figure.

Yep. He pretty well nailed it on the head.

And the Nationals. Though there are a few who are okay but they are banging their heads against a brick wall.
